In March 2008, the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District purchased 35 acres of property off SE 162nd Avenue in Happy Valley. This land was purchased to provide active recreation for community residents of all ages. NCPRD conducted public outreach in spring/summer 2008 to develop a conceptual master plan to help guide improvements to the site. Currently, the park is under construction. Phase I is expected to be done by summer of 2009.
