Name Change

North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District’s (NCPRD) newest park, located off of SE 162nd Avenue, will be named Hood View Park, Clackamas County Commissioners announced on Thursday, July 16, 2009. For more information, view the press release.

Construction

Construction of Phase I of park improvements is currently underway. Phase I includes:

  • 4 full size, all weather turf softball fields with lights
  • 1 overlaid multipurpose field
  • Parking areas, utilities
  • Landscaping

The next phase will likely include:

  • The skate park
  • Play areas
  • House remodel for recreation
  • Picnic facilities
  • Concessions and restroom building

Following phases will include:

  • Dog run
  • Maintenance yard
  • Additional walking trails
  • More picnic facilities

North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District will continue to refine the plan and seek funding options. Public Meeting #3
