Chris Beatty, Associate Principal | PE
Chris Beatty, a Professional Engineer with Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc., has been recently promoted to Associate Principal. Chris has 23 years of experience as a project manager and project engineer. Since joining HHPR in 1997, Chris has been the project manager/engineer for many healthcare related projects throughout the Portland Metro area. In addition, Chris has extensive roadway/streetscape experience throughout Oregon and Washington.
April Siebenaler, Associate Principal | PMP
April Siebenaler, Project Manager for Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc., has been recently promoted to Associate Principal. Since joining HHPR in 2006, April has been charged with overseeing complex, high profile, projects-most recently the City of Portland’s SW Moody Avenue project. She has 18 years experience with multi-modal transportation planning and design project management. April was the recipient of the Women in Transportation Services New Voice Award in 2003 and the Alice B. Toeclips Award in 1997.
Pat Gaylord, Associate | PLS
Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc.’s Survey Manager, Pat Gaylord, has been recently promoted to Associate. Over the past 24 years, Pat has been involved in many aspects of land surveying on numerous projects throughout Oregon and SW Washington. Pat joined the HHPR survey team in 2007 after owning a survey firm for 20 years.
Pat has served in various positions within the Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon since 1991. He served as the Chair of the organization in 2006. Pat was voted Surveyor of the Year in 2006 by the Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon.
Steven J. Entenman, Associate | PE, SE
Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc.’s Structural Engineering Manager, Steven Entenman, has been recently promoted to Associate. For over 32 years, Steve has provided structural engineering services from design inception through construction completion for a wide variety of projects of all types and sizes. Since joining the firm in 2008, Steve has provided his expertise for a wide range of both public and private projects, from single family residences to large heavy industrial developments. Of particular note is the OIW/United Streetcar Test Track newly constructed in Clackamas, OR which is a finalist for an award through DJC and was constructed on a brown field.

Olsen Re-Appointed to OSLAB By Governor’s Office
Bend, Oregon October 12, 2009 - Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. (HHPR) announces the re-appointment, by the Governor’s office, of David P. Olsen, R.L.A. to the Oregon State Landscape Architect Board (OSLAB). David will be serving a four-year term on the Board effective 7/1/2009 through 6/30/2013. He will begin the four-year appointment as the Board’s Vice-Chair while also serving as the Board’s liaison to the state’s Architect Examiners Board and as a member of the Continuing Education Committee.
A long time resident of Central Oregon, David is committed to sustainability within his community, and was recently appointed to the Central Oregon Commute Options Board, where he will be promoting choices that reduce the impacts of driving alone.

Bend, Oregon February 16, 2009 - Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. (HHPR) announces the expansion of their landscape architecture practice as a response to steady growth and the continued desire to meet client needs. A recent addition to HHPR’s landscape architecture team is Senior Landscape Architect David Olsen, R.L.A. David has over 27 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, including project management and project development from conceptual design through construction documentation for both public and private clients. He is responsible for project management, design development, construction detailing, and design leadership. David is a registered Landscape Architect in Oregon and Washington and has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Oregon. David is also a member of the Oregon State Landscape Architects Board which regulates professional practice in the state of Oregon.
David is based in HHPR’s Bend office. Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. Adds Structural Engineering As A Discipline
Portland, Oregon November 12, 2008 - Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. (HHPR) is celebrating 18 years of excellence in client service providing civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture and surveying, and has recently added structural engineering as a discipline. While the economic downturn has been difficult on the A/E/C industry, HHPR has maintained work load by remaining diversified with various market sectors, providing excellent client service, operating efficiently, and taking advantage of opportunities when they arise.
In August, Alpha Community Development closed its doors and approached HHPR with the intent to find a suitable home for their structural discipline. HHPR seized the opportunity to hire their five-person structural engineering group, led by Steven J. Entenman, P.E., S.E. Steve brings to HHPR 25 years of structural engineering experience working on a wide variety of projects including large medical facilities, military aircraft facilities, commercial, institutional, renovation, residential buildings, and public projects. The structural group provides structural analysis and design and consultation for new structures, renovation and remodels; construction document preparation; evaluations, analysis and review of existing structures; advanced structural modeling and stress analysis; and seismic load retrofit and renovations. The group consists of two Project Managers, a Project Engineer, a Designer, and a CADD Technician, all operating out of HHPR’s Clackamas office.

Robert Price has more than 30 years of practical, professional land use planning experience with both public and private sector clients in Oregon and Washington. Bob has expertise in local comprehensive plans, development codes and ordinances, resource inventories, and other related regulatory measures. He is extremely knowledgeable of Oregon's Statewide Planning Goals and has worked extensively with rural and natural resources issues as they relate to land use, development, and conservation. In urban areas, his familiarity and experience with land development issues is equally broad-based. Recently, Mr. Price has participated in or managed several transportation and/or growth management projects for a variety of clients throughout northwest Oregon. “I joined HHPR because of the fantastic people who are there, some of whom I’ve known for many years. Portland, Oregon December 19, 2007 – Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. (HHPR) is celebrating 17 years of excellence in civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture and surveying. In 2003, HHPR added land surveying as a discipline and the firm is excited to announce its most recent department expansion resulting from the acquisition of Gaylord Land Surveying Inc.
With the acquisition, HHPR welcomes Patrick M. Gaylord, formerly the President of Gaylord Land Surveying Inc., who holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Forest Engineering from Oregon State University and is a registered Professional Land Surveyor in Oregon. Patrick brings 20 years of land surveying experience with subdivisions, partitions, plats, boundary disputes, urban and rural boundary surveys, construction staking and topographic surveys for both private and municipal projects. Patrick will co-manage the survey department with HHPR’s current manager, Brian Henson, PLS. “Bringing an experienced surveyor like Pat on staff is a great benefit to the company and the survey department as wells as our clients. Pat and I will manage the surveying department as a partnership, ensuring that our clients will always have direct access to a manager within the department”, says Brian.
In 2006, Patrick received the “Oregon Surveyor” Article of the Year award from the Professional Land Surveyor’s of Oregon (PLSO) and was named the 2006 Surveyor of the Year. Since beginning his membership with PLSO in 1987, Patrick has held many positions within the organization and is currently the liaison to the Oregon Association of County Engineers and Surveyors. Patrick is also an active member of the Oregon Institute of Technology’s Geomatics Program Advisory Committee.
