A recent addition to HHPR’s landscape architecture team is Senior Landscape Architect David Olsen, R.L.A. David has over 27 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, including project management and project development from conceptual design through construction documentation for both public and private clients. He is responsible for project management, design development, construction detailing, and design leadership. David is a registered Landscape Architect in Oregon and Washington and has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Oregon. Portland, Oregon November 12, 2008 - Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. (HHPR) is celebrating 18 years of excellence in client service providing civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture and surveying, and has recently added structural engineering as a discipline. While the economic downturn has been difficult on the A/E/C industry, HHPR has maintained work load by remaining diversified with various market sectors, providing excellent client service, operating efficiently, and taking advantage of opportunities when they arise.
In August, Alpha Community Development closed its doors and approached HHPR with the intent to find a suitable home for their structural discipline. HHPR seized the opportunity to hire their five-person structural engineering group, led by Steven J. Entenman, P.E., S.E. Steve brings to HHPR 25 years of structural engineering experience working on a wide variety of projects including large medical facilities, military aircraft facilities, commercial, institutional, renovation, residential buildings, and public projects. The structural group provides structural analysis and design and consultation for new structures, renovation and remodels; construction document preparation; evaluations, analysis and review of existing structures; advanced structural modeling and stress analysis; and seismic load retrofit and renovations. The group consists of two Project Managers, a Project Engineer, a Designer, and a CADD Technician, all operating out of HHPR’s Clackamas office.

Robert Price has more than 30 years of practical, professional land use planning experience with both public and private sector clients in Oregon and Washington. Bob has expertise in local comprehensive plans, development codes and ordinances, resource inventories, and other related regulatory measures. He is extremely knowledgeable of Oregon's Statewide Planning Goals and has worked extensively with rural and natural resources issues as they relate to land use, development, and conservation. In urban areas, his familiarity and experience with land development issues is equally broad-based. Portland, Oregon December 19, 2007 – Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. (HHPR) is celebrating 17 years of excellence in civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture and surveying. In 2003, HHPR added land surveying as a discipline and the firm is excited to announce its most recent department expansion resulting from the acquisition of Gaylord Land Surveying Inc.
With the acquisition, HHPR welcomes Patrick M. Gaylord, formerly the President of Gaylord Land Surveying Inc., who holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Forest Engineering from Oregon State University and is a registered Professional Land Surveyor in Oregon. Patrick brings 20 years of land surveying experience with subdivisions, partitions, plats, boundary disputes, urban and rural boundary surveys, construction staking and topographic surveys for both private and municipal projects. Patrick will co-manage the survey department with HHPR’s current manager, Brian Henson, PLS. “Bringing an experienced surveyor like Pat on staff is a great benefit to the company and the survey department as wells as our clients. In 2006, Patrick received the “Oregon Surveyor” Article of the Year award from the Professional Land Surveyor’s of Oregon (PLSO) and was named the 2006 Surveyor of the Year. Since beginning his membership with PLSO in 1987, Patrick has held many positions within the organization and is currently the liaison to the Oregon Association of County Engineers and Surveyors. Patrick is also an active member of the Oregon Institute of Technology’s Geomatics Program Advisory Committee.
