“As Damascus works through its transportation plan, there is the possibility for the current east bound flow of Sunnyside to be diverted to Vogel. How committed is the county to work with Damascus before this intersection is finalized? We have seen before where other projects are out of synch with each other. Again, I would like to know how in synch this process is with Damascus’ planning.”

Response No. 22: See Response No. 1.

Directly east of Property #180 (no file exists)
“Anne lives here” Anne
“Straightening this curve will speed traffic up along this residential road and make it more dangerous for people to get out of their driveways. The curve is the only thing that slows people down a little.” Anne
“Taking Sunnyside Road to Foster is a straighter route to Damascus and affects less people. This is a better plan than trying to widen Sunnyside Road from 172nd to 224(212) which is a very curvy road and lined with houses. Anne

Property #161
“Public Safety Issue: A LOT of traffic jogs from Sunnyside onto Vogel Road. This plan, by ending short of Vogel, will force traffic to merge just yards before slowing for the right turns – a bottleneck and dangerous. Why not extend 172nd all the way to Vogel with a right-turn lane?” Marty Beaude
